Kacy Jackel

3D Character Animator for Games - Ready to work and create some cool stuff!

About

Hi, I'm Kacy.

I'm a 21 year old 3D artist based in the UK, completing my final year of the Level 6 Game Art programme at Buckinghamshire New University, where I've been developing a broad and technical skillset across the full 3D Game Design production pipeline.

My Inspirations and Hobbies

I have been enamored by all types of media my entire life, and have been wanting to do something creative as a profession since I left school. Some of my favorite media growing up were videogames, animated movies, cartoons, and comic books, which have all heavily inspired me during my journey of learning how I want to contribute to the industry.

I'm a competitive person at heart, always looking for ways to improve myself and my skills. With this I quickly found a love for competitive videogames, especially Overwatch, and Super Smash Bros. These games really allowed me to express myself and meet a bunch of people who I still regularly talk to now! I even played for my College Esports team, which led to me playing Smash inside of 13 Downing Street which was quite surreal to say the least.

What I Want To Do

My main focus is Character Animation, although I also have solid experience in modelling, rigging and pre-visualisation, giving me a well-rounded understanding of how each department assists eachother throughout a project.

Currently looking for studio opportunities and open to freelance collaborations where I can contribute, learn and grow as an artist within the Games Design industry.
